  • I was thinking this to myself and just thought I'd share it. I was thinking about a time when everything in the Church will be made right and we will have a reliable hierarchy. (Perhaps during the period of peace?)
What would you like to see added (I say added in a way that's in full accordance with Tradition of course) to Holy Mother Church?
For myself, I would like it to be a universal practice of blue vestments for feasts for Our Lady. Also, to see St. Louis De Montfort be declared a Doctor of the Universal Church.
Anyhow, I'm sure there would be far bigger things than these two. These two however for me would be quite nice to see.

  • What I would like to see is the rise of the Great Catholic Monarch who will restore the Church & Christendom, annihilate ʝʊdɛօ - Fɾҽҽmαsσɳɾყ, and destroy all heretics and blasphemers.
If anyone says that true and natural water is not necessary for baptism and thus twists into some metaphor the words of our Lord Jesus Christ" Unless a man be born again of water and the Holy Spirit" (Jn 3:5) let him be anathema.

What would you like to see happen?, Just for fun

Destruction.  I would like to see the destruction of everything we know as "modern."  Not technology, skyscrapers, cars, and such.  I'm talking about all of the superficial things that comprise our modern society.  Sodomites.  A criminal welfare class.  Road rage.  Never-ending texting.  So much needs to go.

I think that justice demands it.

I often feel like I'm Jonah, and I'm put out with Nineveh.  To see the ends of the earth shaken, and to behold the fear of people once they realize there is a God who's very pissed with them...that would be something that would give me satisfaction.  Justice demands it at this point.  I know it sounds macabre, but I'm sure that most believers will be where I'm at once they experience some severe persecution and hardship in the next decades.  I'm pretty sure a lot of those persecuted Iraqi Christians wish God would come out and annihilate their enemies.

But, taking a closer look at your OP:

I honestly can't imagine anything better or good.  I am so accustomed to a degrading Church and a degrading society.

A good and wholesome Catholic monarchy sounds nice in theory.  Pomp and ritual--a celebration of sacred things--I wonder what that kind of civic display would resemble.

To no longer fear for the innocence of my children and my grandchildren...I cannot even imagine what it would be like to be at peace on that issue.

I have a hard time imagining a better world.  I am too preoccupied with desiring justice.

Also, a "Europe For Europeans" movement that actually succeeds.  I don't hate other races, but I also want a homeland for my own, which is okay for literally every other race except for whites, for some reason.

    A very refreshing thought, that.

To add to that, small traditional villages where the most prominent and pivotal structure in town, the Catholic Church with a large steeple, is centrally located.
Religion clean and undefiled before God and the Father, is this: to visit the fatherless and widows in their tribulation: and to keep one's self unspotted from this world.

I don't think that's a possibility any more.  Everything's way to centralized for disconnected villages like that to be very common anymore.

I think that when the restoration of the Church happens, most people will hardly recognize it, sort of like how the apostles hardly recognized Our Blessed Lord after His Ressurection...

And I think that a quiet village life is possible, of course, if it is the will of God.  :-)

I can always dream about it here in the states. But it's definitely possible in places. In Croatia, a Catholic country, for example. There's still some of what I describe going on.

  • I would like to see some saints, priests, bishops and popes return from past centuries to hear what they would have to say about today's crisis.

I would love to hear and have the whole world hear St. Patrick right now, this minute, and hear Pope St. Pius V speak, St. Alphonsus and perhaps St. Issac Joques (to name only a few) preach. I would love to see and hear how they demolish the spineless, wimpy excuses for clergy and hierarchy we have today, how *they* use the faith to battle the Jєωs, heretics, apostates etc.

I don't think that's asking for too much  :dancing:

That would be something! Imagine what they would think of the modern look of today's churches built after the council? It would be nice to have a "destroy your local parish day." Fun for the whole family, everyone can bring a sledgehammer. What better way to restore all things in Christ than to destroy the abominable?

  • I would like to see a complete restoration of Catholicism. Get rid of all this modernist rubbish that is Protestantism and humanism dressed in Catholic clothes, bring back the Latin Mass to every single parish in the world, make Catholic schools truly Catholic again, with genuine catechesis...I recommend the Baltimore Catechism, personally, and bring back Catholic culture...don't be ashamed to show the world we ARE Catholic...wear a miraculous medal, abstain from meat on Friday....

I'd like to see some present day saints of the same calibre as those you desire to return, Stubborn.

Certainly Enoch and Elias will be back!
