  • I have to ask what is the best position on NO Popes.
They often commit things contrary to Tradition, however, some forms of resistance (SV, R&R) are considered as rebellious as the things Bergy does.

Other than pray for him, what *can* you do about the pope? Nothing. Pelly, do not waste another minute of your time even contemplating it. It is too easy to get caught up in the whole SV debate, especially for those who have only recently discovered the true faith.

You forget about sedevacantism - do not even discuss it because it is enough for you to know and accept that the conciliar popes have corrupted themselves. As such, we cannot depend on them for anything. We are in a crisis and that is the way it is in this crisis.

We can say that we cannot not depend on the pope because he is wrong, there are many proofs we can and should use to support this - this much we are permitted to do and even should do.

What we are *not* permitted to do, is to go around and tell everyone that we do not listen to the pope because he is not the pope. There is no Church teaching encouraging, permitting or allowing us to even do such a thing.

Whether or not those who spend their time promoting SVism are wrong or not is not your concern either so do not concern yourself with that, your time should be best spent where your concern actually is - your concern is to try to know, love and serve God in this world so as to be happy with Him in the next. So strive to do your part and God will provide everything you need to make it to heaven whether the pope is the pope, or no pope at all.

That is the situation we are in today. Use it to get to heaven.
