Didn’t he send  the butler to a dungeon while all sodomites got a promotion under Benedict Arnold?   In the end, he lived in luxury while many Catholics were persecuted.

Not two years ago, Patrick Coffin ripped on the SSPX, and one of the bullet points he lists in his summary --
It's ironic that Coffin is now a sedevacantist :laugh1:

Ah, yes, that dirty word again "sedevacantism".  Better late to the party than never, Patrick.  Now maybe you'll wake up and realize that the Church crisis didn't start with Bergoglio, and your man Ratzinger and his predecessor Wojtyla.

Oh, BTW, Coffin slips up and call JP2 "Saint" John Paul II, despite the fact that JP2 was "canonized" by Non-Pope Jorge.

Maybe Ratzinger was a "restrainer", but not in the way that they thought.

It's strange how many public figures there are on the far right end of the NO who essentially
make their living sniffing out all the corruption and heresies of the NO, yet they find resistance/trad
groups a bridge too far.
I understand that some of them are probably gatekeepers, as the powerful are wise enough to control or
steer the opposition that inevitably will spring up to challenge them.
I think a number of them are indeed well intentioned and simply can't separate the true church or body of Christ from the buildings and institutions that the apostates inhabit.

I think there's also a lot of grifters who know where their bread is buttered among the lay-theologian, Trad Inc. types.
