When one reads Scripture, it is inevitable that a rise in evil will be rebuked by a rise in good. God will not leave us as orphans and will send us true catholicism to overcome the rise of satanism.
But even then, individual men will have to DESIRE, SEEK OUT and EMBRACE the truth, and the sweet yoke of the Gospel. The Gospel puts restrictions on our selfish wills -- and men have to accept and want that.
Let's face it -- the SSPX (specifically before 2012), the Resistance (which is basically the SSPX after 2012), and other Traditional groups haven't exactly been sending people away. Chapel membership hasn't been frozen, as in "no new parishioners welcome". If people wanted "true Catholicism", it was pretty much theirs for the taking. The majority of men simply DIDN'T WANT IT for whatever reason.
And I'll grant that Tradition was pretty small in the 1970s or 1980s. But since the Internet, it's pretty hard to claim ignorance in 2020 that there are "serious hardcore Catholics" out there who do all the
hard Catholic stuff, and have that "Latin Mass" thingy.
It's just that most people aren't interested in that hardcore or serious of a religion. They instinctively know what thing(s) they would have to give up, and so their response is
no thanks with a forced laugh added for emphasis. No birth control, for example -- that sends a huge % of the world away. No divorce. No meat on Friday. And the list goes on.
It's not God's fault that 100 million, or even 200 million Americans don't attend Tridentine Mass, Traditional chapels every Sunday.
