Quote, "It is curious to see this fascination for what is not understood, for what appears somewhat hidden, and seems also at times to interest the younger generations." I would imagine that Pope Francis - if he is pope- for the traditional Catholic it matters not one way or the other if he is, for us nothing changes; he has a certain "fascination" with the Latin Mass precisely because he does not understand it. He has undoubtedly had very poor training in both philosophy and theology. I think the Latin Mass is mysterious and majestic for the simple fact that it is in Latin, everything else aside. Unfortunately Francis is the product of a very evil and unproductive age. He was "ordained" in December of 1969. These priests who studied and wrote in the 1960's have very little to say. The only exception would be a handful of traditional priests and a few of those who wrote in the early part of the 60's. If Francis is a priest, I know not; if he is a bishop, I know not; if he is pope, I know not. I am convinced that he is a baptized member of the Church, and for this a pray that he abandons his liberalism.
