Well, Church Militant appears to be continuing the long-standing program of Voris' hero Bishop Sheen - namely, obscurantism of the Jєωιѕн infiltration of the Church by attributing every evil in the West to one and the same culprit - the Great Bogeyman of the 20th Century: Communism.
It wasn't a coven of Soviet spies who drafted Nostra Aetate; it was a trio of American and European-based Jєωιѕн "converts." It wasn't Communists who advised JFK to declare his fealty to an America "where the separation of Church and State is absolute," or laid the groundwork for Dignitatis Humanae; it was the very anti-communist, Americanist CIA stooge, John Courtney Murray.
The notion that McCarrick was s "Soviet spy" is laughable on its face. It's stunning to me that 20th Century myth-spinning like this even has a willing audience anymore. Apply Occam's Razor: Isn't it much more likely that Mr. McCarrick was just another in a long line of gangsterish Irish Americanists who were already decades deep in the work of weakening the Church in America by the time McCarrick was ordained? Add to the mix the fact that McCarrick was - like all Americans of his generation - formed in a country in which the Jєωιѕн hold on news media was all but ubiquitous, and the most salient fact of all - his fαɢɢօtry - and the profile for a perfect enemy agent in the Church is complete. No campfire spook stories about "Soviet spies" are necessary.
There's no question that Communism is evil, but it needs to be seen for what it is: merely one head of the multicephalic hydra that is World Jєωry. As always, it is the aim of the Jєωs that all our focus be paid to only one of their evil faces at a time, so that the others can do their work behind our backs. Look to the disastrous results of uncritical Catholic cooperation with the co-opted American anti-Communist movement of the 20h Century for evidence of that.
