  • I like the polls in the sidebar too.

I was surprised to see that 86% of Fr's readers think we should return to obligatory meatless Fridays, with 75% listing it as "very important".

     I voted YES.

It is amazing that this poll in a non traditional source, such a high
number voted 49% so far that Vatican 2 itself was to blame for the
crises in the church, and 51% voted negative.
You have to realize that 50 years after an event, you have to be at
lease 60 years old and older now to remember the church before,
    during, and the aftermath.
The magority whom voted most likely were born 1965 and afterwards
and if they were a Catholic all their lives only experienced the novus
order where the pre-vatican 2 church was maligned, made fun of, And
everything is so wonderful now because of all these changes.
The video link below will show what I mean.  They may say that
Vatican 2 was not responsible for this sacrilegious display. But
this is how the reformers interpreted the decrees:

I do not know if Father Z is unhappy with the results of this poll.
It gives me optimism for the future of the Church, and
perhaps our years of wandering through the desert is almost
    over with.
