Do they have any other potential Opus Dei connections? I honestly know next to nothing about Gab.

Andrew Torba is a staunch evangelical. I would be surprised if he would be influenced by Opus Dei- he's had even bigger challenges to free speech that he has already batted away. He has always stood his ground against much bigger boys.

It is just "sponsored" as in "paid."
