Title: Visibility without the Faith of the Apostles
Post by: gladius_veritatis on April 13, 2007, 08:28:53 AM
Does visibility - even on a scale unheard of until modern times - without the Faith of the Apostles, mean anything?

Does Faith or Apostolic Authority come first?

I think what you are saying is that Modern Rome is seen and heard via television, radio, internet, So that their voice is heard in even the remotest parts of the world. That is what helps me come to the conclusion they are heretics due to the fact that the evils they speak of are public to anyone with ears to hear. Gladius, is that what constitutes what is known as a Public Heresy? I think it is and that is why I wonder how the "Trad" supporters of these heretics do not admit that the damage done by these is far far greater that any heresy spoken by a pontiff hundreds of years ago.

Today, a time when the true faith is clouded by modernism, we have so much more at our disposal to find the true faith.

Our resources for researching and finding the true faith are vast, and available to most anyone, even the very poor.

Regardless of whether or not the current physical instituion of the church is THE CHURCH, The Church is still visible.

It might help if we define "Church".

First of all name one person who even cares.
Most people don't care a hoot about the Church, just about orchestrating its destruction. Most novus ordos don't really care, and would probably laugh you off or tell you to get lost.
The heresies of the Post VII Church are more than public.

I know a couple of Franciscan tertiaries who really do care.  Can't figure out why they still think they have a pope even when they know he has long, sharp teeth and stinks to high heaven.  Outside of that, you're right.  Most of them think everything is hunky dory.
