I have watched a few of Michael Voris' videos. He reminds me of Father Z, he seems to be better than most Novus Ordites, but he is still not traditional.
I don't see Voris that way. He has a colloquial style, so he's using
layman's language - and that's important these days when so many
don't really have the experience to understand theological or
ecclesiastical terminology.
Fr. Z is way out there in NovusOrdoland, but Voris is not, IMHO.
You can't expect him to hold a candle to Fr. Pfeiffer or Hewko or
Girouard, etc., but that's not his training. He has spent a lot of
time studying, and he's making a strong effort to be heard in an
otherwise pretty slack venue.
I'd call him a 'crossover' agent, and I think he's showing his
effectiveness at helping Novus Ordo Catholics to make the
transition back to Tradition.
He's a featured speaker at
the upcoming conference.
