  • The ordinations at Winona are already underway and probably nearing their conclusion.

Thirteen men will be ordained to the sacred priesthood of Our Lord Jesus Christ on the feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Deo Gratias!

Any word of protest from the Bishop of Winona?
Exile in Novus Ordo land ... please pray for me!

  • Just one problem (among many): The Pope, as pope, has to will for the building up of the Church. He has no choice but to be happy about the ordination of 13 solidly Catholic priests of Our Lord Jesus Christ.

The man Joseph Ratzinger might disagree, or have problems with it, but insofar as he is Pope he has to like it deep down.

If he is willing to destroy the Church, he's doing so as an able-to-sin, private individual, and not by virtue of his office of Pope.

My parents are still my parents if they tell me to murder the mailman. I have to disobey them, they're rotten parents, but they're still my parents. I don't get any others. I can't replace them or elect my own.

If the Pope chooses to destroy the Church, those disciplines/orders do not have to be followed.

But let your speech be yea, yea: no, no: and that which is over and above these, is of evil.

  • Deep -- very deep.

Right to the heart of the Faith itself -- the Church, the priesthood, and the Mass. The very heart of Catholicism.

Those doctrinal discussions have been sincerely asked for by the SSPX for about 38 years now. God bless them for being properly focused and staying on target thus.

  • So they're being "punished" by an "authority" for not engaging in those discussions?

    How nice.

  • "Those doctrinal discussions have been sincerely asked for by the SSPX for about 38 years now. God bless them for being properly focused and staying on target thus."

Yes, let's congratulate them for spinning their wheels and pretending that Freemasons are going to change, all the while driving a stake into the heart of the resistance.

I bet if I came back to this board in some Jetsons era of 3087 you'd say "The SSPX has been pressuring the Vatican to clarify their ecuмenical position for 1,117 years now.  God bless them for their sticktoitveness."

This is not the solution.  This is the distraction.

P.S. If I may lather you up after lashing out, Matthew, let me just say that I appreciate how you allow other points of view to not only be expressed here, but that you have remained patient even when they emerged in the majority over your own.  Honestly, thank you for that.  There is nowhere else for us crazies to go!

  • It didn't hit me until I was in the shower just now.  Did you notice the rich irony of the Vatican II sect saying that SSPX's position concerning doctrine was not "clarified"?

If it wasn't so tragic it'd be comic, or so they say.

Also, I just learned that in the agreement Lefebvre was going to sign with John-Paul II's orcs and werewolves in 1988 before changing his mind, our old friend Lumen "Mark of the Beast" Gentium was SPECIFICALLY singled out as a docuмent that would have to be respected.

"We declare our acceptance of the doctrine contained in §2541 of the dogmatic Constitution Lumen Gentium of Vatican Council II on the ecclesiastical magisterium and the adherence which is due to it."

Okay, SSPX fans, did you get that?  THEY INVOKED THE EXTRAORDINARY MAGISTERIUM.  This was done in the docuмent itself as well.  Did you hear that Dulcamara?  Is anyone out there listening?  Yoo-hoo.
