The OP is very interesting.  For those who don't believe that Sister Lucy 2 is the same as Sister Lucy 1, the message from Lucy 2 would probably be lacking elements if not an outright lie, or even be an attempt by anti-Fatima bishops to obfuscate about the real battle.  The battle against marriage and the family has been going on for decades and while gravely sinister, there is something worse.  ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖity.  What does the breakdown of marriage and the family lead to?  ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖity.  The biggest battle until very recently admittedly has been about the breakdown of marriage and the family.  But what has been going on in the clerical ranks is way worse.

The text by Sister Lucy 1 leads us to this conclusion as well:  “Father, the devil is in the mood for engaging in a decisive battle against the Blessed Virgin. And the devil knows what it is that most offends God, and which in a short space of time will gain for him the greatest number of souls. Thus, the devil does everything to overcome souls consecrated to God because in this way, the devil will succeed in leaving the souls of the faithful abandoned by their leaders, thereby the more easily will he seize them. Religious and priests who fall away from their beautiful vocation drag numerous souls to hell..."

The text talks about "souls consecrated to God"  That is not marriage and the family per se, it's priests and bishops. Also, the text mentions what most offends God and that has to be ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖity, rape, the perversion of children and covering it up.

And now the pedo/homo crisis has come, being the consequence of marriage and the family, but far worse in what most offends God.

Excellent observation, Carissima

What is important in this message, are 2 remedies.  Rosary and devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.  Rosary is so effective that anything can be resolved!

Establish devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, such as the total consecration.

IF these remedies are openly rejected with full Knowledge, and consent, that it is despised and repulse "we will not have anymore forgiveness from heaven, salvation promised of the Holy Ghost.  It becomes a Sin against the Holy Ghost.

This is what needs to be understood.

You are right, Mary's instructions for our response is never promoted enough.  Fatima is not about getting angry, or writing letters to bishops (which is good) but this is more about the cure for our ills and the ills of the Church.  Sadly, had more people considered Our Lady's words more carefully, we might have seen this disaster coming and prevented it?  But then, we didn't even recognize the seriousness of the preceding problems years earlier, or any where along the way.  Now the Church is in shambles, the remedy still remains: Establish devotion to the Immaculate Heart, pray the rosary, and do penance.
