  • 1) Vatican II is a rupture from the Roman Catholic Church.

    2) Vatican II as a continuity of the Roman Catholic Church.

I see Vatican II has having instituted a completely new "ecclesiology" and can rightly describe the council as a complete rupture with the traditional Roman Catholic Church.

    Where am I wrong?

  • You are wrong in that you are cowardly and lack creative power, having refused the challenge of figuring out how 2 and 2 should make 5.
Readers: Please IGNORE all my postings here. I was a recent convert and fell into errors, even heresy for which hopefully my ignorance excuses. These include rejecting the "rhythm method," rejecting the idea of "implicit faith," and being brieflfy quasi-Jansenist. I also posted occasions of sins and links to occasions of sin, not understanding the concept much at the time, so do not follow my links.

  • Raoul meant that as tongue in cheek or to imply that I was "Capt Obvious" - that's how I read his comment.

  • That's about it Captain.  Everyone to your battle stations (kneelers).  It's like the Archbishop said, it's a different religion...

The correct answer of course, is option 1.
