  • Dear All,

I am looking for the title of a book that I would see occasionally on Amazon.com about the errors of the Vatican II (Trad Mass vs. NO mass). I think it was written in the 70's (?) and it is a common tittle to have by a Traditional Catholic. I remember that on the cover there was a picture of a Chalice with the Host on a purple background. Thank you and God bless.

  • The only book I know that discusses the New Mass vs. the traditional Mass written in the 1970s is The Great Sacrilege by Fr. James Wathen.  It is no longer in print but can be read online at:  http://www.dailycatholic.org/indextgs.htm

I have no idea whether this is what you're looking for or not.

The Robber Church by Omlor and another whose title escapes me by Father Cekada are both great

The Robber Church is also great.  It is a collection of essays written by Patrick Henry Omlar in the 1960s and later.

The only book I know of by Fr. Cekada are Work of Human Hands.  He compiled The Anti-Modernist Reader, Volume 1.  Both of these were published fairly recently.
