I just watched this video by John Vennari (right after Francis' latest interview) and thought he had a lot of great thoughts, but I noticed that he never goes as far as saying the "H" word when speaking of Francis and his contradictions to Traditional Catholic teaching.  Why not call a spade a spade rather than talking around an issue (like Vatican II docuмents)?

One thing he mentions early on that I found fascinating was about Francis' use of the media....that he chooses to go straight to the public without having to write encyclicals that would be openly contrary to Traditional Catholic teaching.

Who is this guy?

For some reason John V.  has drawn a conclusion first - SV can't be possible, and then makes everything "fit" that conclusion.

He has heretical ideas

He acts like a heretic

He does not teach heresy ex cathedra

He has a heretical mindset

But he cannot allow himself to call him a heretic plain and simple because the fact of SV is something he will not accept.  The state of the Church has to be for any other reason than that.  That is why I don't pay much attention to him at all unless someone else points me in his direction.

He appears to be intellectually dishonest on the topic.  Ultimately he may not be as I cannot know for sure the inner working of his mind.  But he appears to be intellectually dishonest on this one topic.  For whatever reason.

But it is clear he realizes that if he admits these guys are public heretics he "admits too much" for what he is willing to accept.  He knows as well as any SV that a public heretic cannot be Pope.
