Post by: 2Vermont on October 26, 2013, 01:30:47 PM
He's still here, right?

I'm worried that I have not seen him post in awhile.

Sorry, yeah I have been real busy! Trust me every single second I have available I try to contribute something. I don't play games, watch entertainment, whatever I do watch is only educational/apologetic material.

I try to be very faithful to my duties in my state of life as that is what will get me to heaven! What has been helping me is exercising strenuously, it gives me the energy to be able to deal with everything throughout the day. Offer every single push up, pull up et al, for the Greater Glory of God.

My sister gave birth this past wednesday, Deo gratias. Please pray for her as she is not baptized yet, that she might have the courage to do so. She knows that outside of the Church no soul will ever be saved, and I have with the utmost charity possible have repeatedly told her to straighten her life to start living according to the Law of God. So I have been a little busy helping out in whatever ways I can, praying most of all for the little baby that he might be baptized and raised a Catholic. I was also getting ready for the Feast of Christ the King, beautiful procession! Can't wait for the Feast of All Saints, and All souls day.

All my family has had a huge boom lately in babies  :guitar:, so that is always a good thing. Being a parent even if outside of marriage, makes people realize that they need the Church more then ever. I pray that it might help convert some of them to the Catholic faith, and to those that are already Catholic into strong practising Catholics. In God's good time, so long as they are still alive their time of mercy is here, but once they die it is over. God will never forsake the tears and prayers for your loved ones, never despair persevere until the end even if it takes 50 years.

I ask for your prayers  .

How true.  I believe were it not for some prayers of my grandmother I would be dead and in Hell right now.

It is good to have Masses offered for dead friends and relatives and enemies.  Even if they died long ago God was aware of the Masses that would be offered for them.  I believe you can even request a requiem even if the person died a long time ago though someone may correct me on that.  I would be curious to know either way if there is a time limit as to when an requiem can be offered for a soul.
