  • The Holy Spirit has not been promised to the successors of Peter that, under His revelation, they might make known a new doctrine, but in order that, with His assistance, they sacredly preserve and faithfully set forth the revelation transmitted by the Apostles, that is to say, the deposit of the faith.

  • And herein lies the $1,000,000 question.  Did Vatican II (and the last 50 years) posit substantial changes to the Catholic faith, or merely accidental changes ??

How you answer that question will ultimately dictate the only possible solution to this crisis.

Francis is shaking the fence, especially with the recent 'canonizations' and the fence sitters are falling off, to one side or the other.
Pray the Holy Rosary every day!!

  • Maybe Francis is a sign of grace from God to get the fence sitters to make a decision?  :confused1:

The above is quite key.  Either the Holy Ghost quit his job or we have not had a valid Pope since the "Council".
"I receive Thee, redeeming Prince of my soul. Out of love for Thee have I studied, watched through many nights, and exerted myself: Thee did I preach and teach. I have never said aught against Thee. Nor do I persist stubbornly in my views. If I have ever expressed myself erroneously on this Sacrament, I submit to the judgement of the Holy Roman Church, in obedience of which I now part from this world." Saint Thomas Aquinas the greatest Doctor of the Church

I think accidentally on purpose.  Turning the altar around, changing the Liturgy,
Not that these changes we mandated by the Council--but they came about anyway.  I wonder why this was allowed to happen?

    Communion in the hand.

Did you know that all the Popes say that Communion on the tongue is the correct way to receive Communion?

Why then are we receiving in the hand?

This was meant for a reply for a different message.  I am still getting used to this site but still keep making mistakes while replying.  Sorry  But these are my thoughts.
