Good for the priest. There were two parts of the article in particular that stood out at me. First this part:

No surprise. I guess this priest will be unjustly punished. Oh, and look at the comment left by this stupid person:

Then there is no question that the priest did the Catholic thing.  He was not acting on supposition or hearsay, and he warned the woman ahead of time what would happen.

Say a priest didn't warn them, though, but was told by them and was not expecting them to come to Communion.  He would still have an obligation to deny them Communion, whether he warned them or not.
