Pope Francis has revealed, for the first time, that he sought help from a psychoanalyst when he was younger.
In a new book, he says that at the age of 42 – long before he was elected Pope - he saw an analyst in his native Argentina for six months.

Jorge Mario Bergoglio, as he was known then, was at the time the head of the Jesuit order in Argentina.

“At a certain point, I felt the need to consult an analyst. For six months, I went to her house once a week to clarify a few things,” he revealed in the book, Pope Francis: Politics and Society.

If any one saith that true and natural water is not of necessity for baptism, and on that account wrests to some sort of metaphor those words of Our Lord Jesus Christ, "Unless a man be born again of water and the Holy Ghost...,"  Let Him Be Anathama.  -COUNCIL OF TRENT Sess VII Canon II “On Baptism"

  • Even if he has denounced this previous witchcraft, confessed and been absolved, it is scandalous that he publicly recount it now.  Yet another way to denigrate and trivialize the office that he purports to hold.

It's hard for Jorge to shock me anymore.  But I will be shocked if he didn't denounce this past indiscretion.
