Quote
If we think that is guaranteed, we may be deceived by the Antichrist who will appear to have the solutions for our earthly problems, including those in the Church.
I agree with you that the antichrist will deceive many, but we can't get carried away by this idea.  Firstly, he will only be able to deceive people to the extent that God allows.  Secondly, God will only allow his temptations to increase our faith and earn merits for heaven.  Thirdly, the antichrist is not some superhero who can do whatever he wants; he will work (indirectly) for God's greater intentions.

The point is, the times of the antichrist are similar to the current times.  Did the V2 church deceive many?  Yes.  Did V2 leaders have some magical power where people were compelled to accept errors?  No.  Those who prayed and were of good will, searching for God, found Tradition and rejected V2.

So in the times of antichrist.  Those who want the truth will find it.  Those who want to love God will reject antichrist.  God is not a tyrant or an evil sadist.  He does not play games with His sheep, or cause them distress without reason.  However alluring the antichrist will be, God will raise up powerful and holy saints to preach against his evils (i.e. Enoch, Elias and others).  Just like during our times God raised up holy bishops and priests and laymen who spoke out against V2 errors.

We should not fear evil, but have a holy fear of God.

Yes, I totally agree with you.

And like you say about VII many were fooled.  They made compromises.

Those who sought the truth would not compromise.

They did the research.  They saw the red flags and did not ignore them.

That is why it is so important to notice the red flags like

 ʝʊdɛօ-Christian worship

which has no part in Tradition

and is a rejection of Our Lord Jesus Christ

and a mortal sin.

We cannot be like the VIIers and sweep that under the rug like it's no big deal.
