The docuмent is just a lot of modernist claptrap. It strives to show the historical precedent of synods. PoG (People of God) is often mentioned, as is Vatican ll. Toward the end 'charismatic gifts' are described as being very much needed. The thing is, as much as this docuмent wants to include the voice of the PoG and the 'Holy Spirit,' I don't think that the pope and writers of the docuмent really care about the PoGs. They just want to make it seem like that's what they care about. There wasn't any mention, that I saw, of sanctifying grace or even the reality of Heaven or Hell.
