  • from Randy Engel's Rite of Sodomy vol. 4 pp. 954 (PDF pp. 224) ff.

I knew that the FSSP's all-boys St. Gregory’s Academy high school shut down because of some controversy, but I didn't know the full story why: they let Fr. Urrutigoity et al. of the Society of St. John infiltrate it.

I can't believe Bp. Williamson didn't detect the seminarian Urrutigoity to be a sodomite, and Bp. de Galarreta even supported Urrutigoity against Fr. Morello, who expelled him from the seminary in Argentina, urged Bp. Williamson not to ordain him, and who, according to Bp. Williamson, had sedevacantist ties against Bp. de Galarreta. Abp. Lefebvre, God bless him, reviewed Fr. Morello's dossier and told Bp. Williamson et al. to watch Urrutigoity "like a hawk." Bp. Fellay later expelled Fr. Urrutigoity from the SSPX, Deo gratias, because he detected a "strange personal, guru-like attachment between the disciples and their leader."

In the next section, Mrs. Engel covers Marcial Maciel. He was ordained by his uncle, a bishop (talk about nepotism) who later suspended him a divinis! At least nine accusations were leveled against him, yet the Vatican still didn't care! Did JPII ever do anything against him?

Rite of Sodomy vol. 5 goes over Paul VI's alleged ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖity. PDF p. 72 (p. 1151) gives a very good argument against Humanæ Vitæ. She mentions how the 6 year long (why so long?) Birth Control Commission, which was responsible only to Paul VI, created a climate that the Church's teaching was doubtful and that it was going to change, and "lex dubia non obligat." No wonder priests actually told married confessors they could contracept soon!

    S. Petre Damiane, ora pro nobis!

  • The closing of St. Gregory's over a decade after the SSJ was gone had nothing to do with the scandal of long ago. Why don't you do some research before you go posting??

I was there at Winona when Carlos Urrutigoity was a seminarian, and this "strange personal, guru-like attachment" was painfully obvious way back then.  Many of us complained about the Urrutigoity cult that arisen at the seminary; I'm afraid that most of the faculty there were also taken in by the Urrutigoity personality cult.  Many of the seminarians saw through it.

We didn't know at the time that Urrutigoity was supposed to be under strict supervision for past allegations of disorders against nature, but, had we known, his behavior patterns at Winona would and should have been a major tip-off.  Let's just say that his behavior was consistent with "grooming".  His cult was all very big into these very long (as in reaching their ankles) lace surplices ... which ended up looking not unlike women's lingerie.  They were excessively concerned about their outward appearance (excessive vs. a normal man), were into very fine cassocks, ironing and pressing them constantly, making sure they had the right matching gold cuff-links, etc. etc.  They were also extremely into the chant.  Fr. Urrutigoity was the choir director and like to have seminarians singing pseudo- or false- soprano, which most us of found abhorrent and it made us uncomfortable.  I was stuck with this part myself, since I have a tenor voice, and I was made to belt out things like the soprano parts in Handel's Messiah.  I found it disgusting, but I had no say in the matter.

Their closing was completely unrelated to it? Why did they close it down, then?

  • Ladislaus, I remember the long surplices. They were used also when they moved to PA, however those were completely without lace.

I remember that post, but why no mention of the Society of St. John? Isn't it clear that that ordeal contributed to giving the school a bad image, non-growing enrollment numbers, etc.?

  • I've known many alumni of St. Greg's, and also young men whose families looked into the school. 15,000 tuition a year was a problem, not the brief amount of time that the SSJ was there.

You should probably read this too:

  • A reminder to all that whatever good work Mrs Engel may be doing, she has implied that Card Del Val & Pope Pius XII are somehow in on the 'Rite'. This is disgusting to say the least.

Has her pal Mr Vennari( libeler of Card Rampolla ) asked her about this?  :confused1:

    To defend.....

How many shepherds are really wolves in sheep clothing???

Priests should take vows of chastity, poverty and obedience
    To God.

Lukewarm empty promises are for the devil.

" all the evils of the world is because of lukewarm Catholics. " St Pope Pius V

All priests, nuns and religious should take vows of chastity, poverty and obedience.

Recently, the Pope excommunicated the Italian mafia for their sins of murder, stealing and hypocrisy.

:incense:Pope Francis needs to defrock and excommunicate the lavender and lace
    Mafia.

  • I am convinced that the reason these pedophiles are protected by upper levels of the hierarchy is that a large percentage of the upper levels of the hierarchy are themselves pedophiles or at least ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖs.
