Wojtyla was indeed a great performer, but I'm not sure if Bergoglio was given the job of acting. I think it was his job to finally come out of the Modernist closet.
I agree. And he does his job very well.
I subscribe to the paper version of The Remnant, though I'm aware of its deficits. Michael Matt, perhaps, attends an indult and may be affected by Pope Francis' changes. That could be why he's not too happy with Francis. Though he was never really a fan anyway.
