  • Rapping Bishop Joseph Espaillat, youngest bishop in the US, makes history with modern methods

At 45, Espaillat became the youngest bishop in the U.S. when he was ordained in March. He's also the first Dominican bishop in the New York Archdiocese.

This is NOT "good news".

  • Well, his heart seems to be in the right place ... even if his mind is not.  I ultimately blame the Conciliar "popes" for men like this, and the buck stops with them.

So the whole point (allegedly) of the NOM was to allow people to "relate" to the Mass, but ... surprise ... it didn't work.  So now they're trying even harder to bring the Mass down to where the "people" are.  We know of course that the Mass is intended to lift the people out of their lives.  If someone has fallen into a pit, you don't jump down into the pit, with the result that you're both trapped  You try to pull the person out from above.

By brining the Mass down to the people, they're not making the people better, just making the "Mass" worse.

People were historically drawn to the Mass precisely for the sense of the mystical that it conveyed.  Nobody wants to go to Mass to hear bad, third-rate rap.  They're surrounded by that stuff day in and day out.  They need something different, something to elevate them out of this dreary existence toward the supernatural.

Of course, we know that their stated intentions are lies ... that the real intent was really to destroy.  And in that sense, they've actually been very successful.

Regard all of my posts as unfounded slander, heresy, theologically specious etc
I accept Church teaching on Implicit Baptism of Desire.
    Francis is Pope.
    NO is a good Mass.
    Not an ironic sig.
