  • I was doing some research on Fr. Bernard Lonergan. I was wondering if anyone had any input on here they may be able to give. I looked on Tradition in Action, on Wikipedia, and on another site.

I must admit that it bothers me a lot that such modernist theologians get praised while good men like Archbishop Lefebvre and Cardinal Ottaviani get ridiculed. It will be such a difficult task to get people to think objectively because very few do nowadays, even when they think are thinking objectively. It is just so difficult to get people to see that good men like Archbishop Lefebvre and Cardinal Ottaviani were not trying to have souls do things their way. They were simply passing on the perennial Catholic doctrine. On the other hand, you have the Church being infected with Vatican II and the modernist theology causing disobedience derived from the dissident theologians who themselves stubbornly disobeyed the Church before the Council. I do consider though that we do live in a vale of tears and that God's justice is not always wrought in this life but rather often in the next. If they are in Purgatory, I do pray for those modernist theologians who may have ended up there.

  • I have also noticed the differences in demeanor in photographs of defenders of the faith and modernists.

  • You describe the scheme of the Communist.  To make good clergy look bad in the eyes of the people and the infiltrator/clergy get the praise.  And it explains the moving of priest not now but decades ago.

there is a book, "Church and State in   Czechoslovakia by Ludvik Nemec of 1954.  It has the scheme all listed and master planned to accept Lenin, Stalin Marxism.  How clergy are paid by the state (as they are now here in the USA) and liquidate the Church.   Very well mastermind!
