natural goodness is worth nothing without salvation

St. Thomas recognized and praised the natural virtues of the pagans on which grace can build.

Gee that's fine and dandy, but what does that have to do with what I said?

I was digressing, simply agreeing with the other person that natural beauty or virtue in anyone, even in the Church is not worthless.

For example, in anyone, even modernists or wrongheaded trads or pagans we might find certain points of virtue and use that as a point of departure to show how natural beauty or virtue leads per force to the fullness of beauty and virtue in God who has revealed Himself in Jesus Christ who gave us his Mystical Body to guide us to Truth, Peace and Heaven.
