The saints have identified the gates of hell as heretics. The gates of hell can't prevail because the Church is Holy and unspotted. They will prevail against those that are not members of the Holy and unspotted Church, those that are not Orthodox in belief and do not profess the Catholic and apostolic faith. Those that do not LIVE the faith.
