Dear Parishioners of Saint Albert the Great,
It is with mixed emotions that I make the announcement that Father Markus Ramolla has decided to resign as Pastor pro tempore of Saint Albert the Great Catholic Church. Father Ramolla plans to continue his work with the seminarians through Saint Athanasius Seminary as he relocates to another church in the U.-S., and he will celebrate his last Sunday Mass at Saint Albert the Great on May 20, 2012.
Preparations have been initiated with His Excellency Bishop Pivarunas and the CMRI in order that the faithful may continue to worship at Mass and receive the sacraments at our Woodside location.
On behalf of the Board of Trustees of Saint Albert the Great, I thank Father Ramolla for his service to us and wish him and the seminarians well.
Sincerely,
Michael Ribar,
President, Board of Trustees
Saint Albert the Great, Inc.
With this announcement, it looks like the campaign to destroy St. Gertrude the Great Church and its clergy, begun by Fr. Ramolla and his internet cheering section in 2009, has finally imploded.
The fearless leader, Fr. Ramolla, who deceived, used, discarded and then attacked at least five traditionalist bishops, is likewise abandoning the remnant of the parishioners at the Mass center he set up to oppose SGG, and heading off to an "undisclosed location."
The loudmouths who spread lies and hate everywhere against SGG — Jim Gebel, Eamon Shea, Janet gαye, Bernard Hall, Craig Toth, Thomas Droleskey and others — are now divided into pro-Petko, anti-Petko, pro-Ramolla, pro-Hall, and anti-CMRI factions, and attacking Petko, Fr. Ramolla, the St. Albert the Great Trustees, Fr. Hall, CMRI, Ramolla seminarians, etc. as immoral, venal, liars, ambitious, ignorant, dictatorial, conducting cover-ups, etc., etc.
The tune and lyrics sound familiar, don't they?
Like the Petko episode last December, the latest developments seem like God's judgment punishing the haters and calumniators with the evils they tried to heap on others:
He that opened a pit and dug it; and he hath fallen into the hole he hath made.
His grief shall be turned on his own head; and his iniquity shall come down upon the crown of his head.
Those who howled for blood during their revolution in 2009 are now howling for each others' blood.
Those who give in to hate usually don't think it will turn back on them, but it does. Scary.
