Title: The foretold complete restoration.
Post by: Nishant Xavier on September 19, 2018, 12:34:40 AM
Many prophesies suggest explicitly that God will send an Angelic Pastor - the holy Pope - and also a Great King of France - the Catholic Monarch - for the restoration of His Church, after a foretold crisis in the latter half of the 20th century. Do you think full Catholic Restoration is possible?

Quote
“As for the Sacrament of Matrimony… it will be attacked and deeply profaned… The Catholic spirit will rapidly decay; the precious light of the Faith will gradually be extinguished… Added to this will be the effects of secular education, which will be one reason for the dearth of Priestly and Religious vocations.

“The Sacrament of Holy Orders will be ridiculed, oppressed, and despised… The Devil will try to persecute the ministers of the Lord in every possible way; he will labor with cruel and subtle astuteness to deviate them from the spirit of their vocation and will corrupt many of them. These depraved Priests, who will scandalize the Christian people, will make the hatred of bad Catholics and the enemies of the Roman Catholic and Apostolic Church fall upon all Priests…

“Further, in these unhappy times, there will be unbridled luxury, which will ensnare the rest into sin and conquer innumerable frivolous souls, who will be lost. Innocence will almost no longer be found in children, nor modesty in women. In this supreme moment of need of the Church, the one who should speak will fall silent.” ... She even homes in on the sixties: she times this “eruption” of the passions to take place “shortly after the middle of the twentieth century”.

Particularly striking, you may think, are Our Lady’s words about how “the Sacrament of Matrimony …will be attacked and deeply profaned”, and that remarkable passage about some “depraved Priests, who will scandalise the Christian people, [and who] will make the hatred of bad Catholics and the enemies of the Roman Catholic and Apostolic Church fall upon all Priests…”

“In order to free men from bondage to these heresies, those whom the merciful love of My Most Holy Son will destine for that restoration will need great strength of will, constancy, valor and much confidence in God. To test this faith and confidence of the just, there will be occasions when everything will seem to be lost and paralyzed. This, then, will be the happy beginning of the complete restoration.”

Finally, the most important counsel of all from Our Lady to Mother Mariana, a Victim Soul, and to all of us, “Pray constantly, implore tirelessly, and weep bitter tears in the seclusion of your heart, beseeching the Eucharistic Heart of My most holy Son to take pity on His ministers and to end as soon as possible these unhappy times by sending to His Church the Prelate who shall restore the spirit of Her Priests.” Link (http://www.tfp.org/prophecies-of-our-lady-of-good-success-about-our-times/)

Do you believe this Promised Prelate will come?

Do you think full Catholic Restoration is possible?
Of course it is possible, not without suffering and persecution.

I have not heard the expression before.

I am not a great one for prophecies by private revelation, though I have read Mother Mariana and found her prophecies to be remarkable.

William Oddie, in the article dated 2012, rather oddly has great hope because of

the faith and valour over the last half century, above all in the present Holy Father (Benedict 16) and his heroic predecessor (JP2 the great); and  (believes) that that complete restoration has indeed happily begun.

I much prefer to read the Apocalypse of St John. For example Chapter 21 tells us    to expect the New Jerusalem:
The new Jerusalem described.
[1] (http://www.drbo.org/x/d?b=drb&bk=73&ch=21&l=1-#x) And I saw a new heaven and a new earth. For the first heaven and the first earth was gone, and the sea is now no more. [2] (http://www.drbo.org/x/d?b=drb&bk=73&ch=21&l=2-#x) And I John saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. [3] (http://www.drbo.org/x/d?b=drb&bk=73&ch=21&l=3-#x) And I heard a great voice from the throne, saying: Behold the tabernacle of God with men, and he will dwell with them. And they shall be his people; and God himself with them shall be their God. [4] (http://www.drbo.org/x/d?b=drb&bk=73&ch=21&l=4-#x) And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes: and death shall be no more, nor mourning, nor crying, nor sorrow shall be any more, for the former things are passed away. [5] (http://www.drbo.org/x/d?b=drb&bk=73&ch=21&l=5-#x) And he that sat on the throne, said: Behold, I make all things new. And he said to me: Write, for these words are most faithful and true.

Yes, I believe in the Great Monarch and the Holy Pontiff.

Here's an old thread on the topic:  https://www.cathinfo.com/politics-and-world-leaders/the-great-catholic-monarch/ (https://www.cathinfo.com/politics-and-world-leaders/the-great-catholic-monarch/)

I believe the Catholic Church follows in the footsteps of the life of Jesus.

Jesus was born and founded a Church.

The Church was born on Pentecost.

Jesus taught, the Church mission is teaching TRUTH.

Jesus was misunderstood, the Church was misunderstood.

Jesus was persecuted as His Church has been.

Jesus was denied by His own nation, and the Church also was denied by those He died for.

Jesus died on the Cross with only 3 people at the foot of His Cross.  The Church today appears to have died with only a few (compared to novus ordo) standing firm to His teaching.

Jesus has Risen from the dead, and the Church will RISE AGAIN!

Jesus Ascended into heaven as the Church will Ascend with the Second Coming of Christ.
