Wonderful, Stubborn! So, we have 3 more ways, (6) the 30 Consecutive Gregorian Masses, as handed down by Tradition; it is said by some of the Saints and can be piously believed that even if, conditionally, a person would have otherwise had to have remained in Purgatory until Judgment Day/the end of the world, he could be released when the 30 Masses are offered for his soul's repose; (7) The Sacrament of Extreme Unction, as you mentioned, especially if received near death, and after confession, can remove most of the temporal penalties remaining (8 ) The Apostolic Blessing or Apostolic Pardon as well, which can be administered along with Last Rites by any Priest, prepares a soul immediately for entrance into paradise. Does anyone know the old form of the Apostolic Pardon, or is it the same as the new one? I found this from the Marian apostolate site, I think it is the new one, "the priest may use either of the following formulas to impart the “Apostolic Pardon,” which liberates the soul from all temporal punishment due to sin that has already been forgiven in the Sacrament of Penance, thereby enabling the soul to gain immediate entrance into heaven. I encourage my readers to print this post and carry a copy of this “Apostolic Pardon” in your wallet or purse in case of an emergency, as many priests, although they possess the faculties to administer this blessing, are not aware of it. Having it on hand and readily available in an emergency situation could quite literally save you or another soul from the equivalent of years of suffering and penance in purgatory. Either formula may be used:(1) “Through the holy mysteries of our redemption may almighty God release you from all punishments in this life and in the life to come. May he open to you the gates of paradise and welcome you to everlasting joy.” (2) “By the authority which the Apostolic See has given me, I grant you a full pardon and the remission of all your sins in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.”

Thanks, Last Tradhican. (9) The Rosary Indulgence is another great one, which can be obtained frequently or even daily, as you said. 15 decades, the full Rosary, is plenarily indulgenced even if said by one individual. 5 decades is Indulgenced if said as a family or a parish. The usual conditions of prayer for the Pope etc go along with it. (10) 30 Mins Eucharistic Adoration, (11) 30 Mins Scripture Reading. And, the (12) Way of the Cross before properly erected Stations also all carry a plenary Indulgence. So we have 12 means in all at least. Edit: A 13th comes to mind, promised by Our Lady for devotion to Her Seven Sorrows, (13) "I have obtained from my divine Son, that those who propagate this devotion to my tears and dolors, will be taken directly from this earthly life to eternal happiness since all their sins will be forgiven and my Son and I will be their eternal consolation and joy."
http://www.themostholyrosary.com/appendix1.htmThere are also about 12 prayers with Plenary Indulgences in the link in the op article, one of which was that prayer of resignation to God's Will in whatever death the Good God is pleased to send us. The important thing is to make that kind of act frequently during life.
