  • What you are saying is incorrect. Jesus comes to us in the Blessed Sacrament and that is the cause of my joy.

  • "In their [the Modernists'] books, one finds some things that might well be approved by a Catholic, but on turning over the page, one is confronted by other things that might well have been dictated by a Rationalist." Encyclical Letter Pascendi Dominici Gregis, September 8, 1907

Pope St. Pius X said: "All the strength of Satan's reign is due to the easygoing weakness of Catholics."

If the devil showed himself to the world as red , with horns and beat the tar out of man every time they saw him, the world would reject him. (Last Tradhican)
but he doesnt, and so they do not
yes Catholics are like all other people in that respect, they want an easy Christianity. But Jesus said that the way is narrow and there are few who find it. It is human nature to seek the easiest way, but it is the way to Hell
I think many Christians will be shocked in the next life, maybe even yours truly. I seek to do what Jesus said but---well, I don't know.. As St Paul said, he doesn't even judge himself.. Jesus is the only Judge, but we have to judge ourselves, and harshly, it would seem
