My point is, if the Sacrament is defected in ways pointed out in Roman numeral V it is not valid.  Thinking along the lines of your original note here, you would be enlightned to the many abuses and defects as to why many traditional Catholic would not worship at NO chapels.

... a few years later many (but not all) of the SSPX priests started getting worldly, as wealth, human respect, etc. started going to their heads.

Who thinks this is what actually lead to Vatican II?

Not me!

The orthodox have a valid Mass yet you would not even consider attending some adoration there ... or would you?

No Catholic should even contemplate attending a Mass where the clergy in question has no mission from Christ. Even if validity can be proved.  :incense:

No Catholic should listen to your opinions either.

Myrna,

I'm just going to point out that you can't know for sure that your CMRI priest (or any priest) has the proper intention either. Writing off the validity of every single Novus Ordo Mass on the account of improper intention is rash and leads to the paranoia of men like CM.

If I wasn't sure of my position I would be a stay at home aloner.  Can I be disappointed yes, my priest are human and can fall like anyone of us.

What I quoted are  from past popes, not C.M.R.I. nor anything I wrote up just to back up what I believe.  What I posted here was to explain, why I believe what I believe.  That is what the original note was asking for.
