Around the year 2000, Father Z posted on a Catholic message board that I was member of something to the effect that "Vatican II must have decided that the Council of Florence was wrong" in its declaration on EENS. While my words are a paraphrase of his (he did, however, use the word "wrong"), they, nonetheless, represent his exact meaning -- Vatican II had overturned a previous decree of an ecuмenical Council of the Catholic Church. I remember that message thread well; even sent a hardcopy letter to Father Z's bishop about his "Internet activities", which was never answered.
He's definitively a concilarist "through and through".
