Can you point out where in Scripture three days is actually referenced? I've never seen it actually stated in Scripture but I'm open to having missed it.

Matthew 24:29 "And immediately after the tribulation of those days, the sun shall be darkened and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of heaven shall be moved"
Catholic Bible Douay-Rheims Commentary: "Or flaming meteors[from the tail of a comet] resembling [shooting] stars."

More explanation on the chastisement. Please see the attached PDF or click this link:

The most popular date for this event is 2029, 100 years since the Holy Virgin asked for the consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart.
-
Saint Matthew Chapter: 24:22. And unless those days had been shortened, no flesh should be saved: but for the sake of the elect those days shall be shortened.

Where does it say anything about three days?

You are absolutely correct that it doesn't. And the passage refers to the end of the world, not the three days of darkness.
The three days of darkness is not in Scripture.

The three days of darkness makes sense when we understand the Church, the bride of Christ, follows Her Lord in His life, death, and resurrection. The Church goes through Her passion and death (seemingly), three days of darkness as in a tomb, and Her resurrection being the triumph of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Immaculate Heart of Mary. The Ascension on the Day of Judgement.

Where does it say anything about three days?
Apocalypse 11:
7 (https://www.drbo.org/cgi-bin/d?b=drb&bk=73&ch=11&l=7-#x)And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast, that ascendeth out of the abyss, shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them. 8 (https://www.drbo.org/cgi-bin/d?b=drb&bk=73&ch=11&l=8-#x)And their bodies shall lie in the streets of the great city, which is called spiritually, Sodom and Egypt, where their Lord also was crucified. 9 (https://www.drbo.org/cgi-bin/d?b=drb&bk=73&ch=11&l=9-#x)And they of the tribes, and peoples, and tongues, and nations, shall see their bodies for three days and a half: and they shall not suffer their bodies to be laid in sepulchres. 10 (https://www.drbo.org/cgi-bin/d?b=drb&bk=73&ch=11&l=10-#x)And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry: and shall send gifts one to another, because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt upon the earth.
11 (https://www.drbo.org/cgi-bin/d?b=drb&bk=73&ch=11&l=11-#x)And after three days and a half, the spirit of life from God entered into them. And they stood upon their feet, and great fear fell upon them that saw them. 12 (https://www.drbo.org/cgi-bin/d?b=drb&bk=73&ch=11&l=12-#x)And they heard a great voice from heaven, saying to them: Come up hither. And they went up to heaven in a cloud: and their enemies saw them.

And they of the tribes, and peoples, and tongues, and nations, shall see their bodies for three days and a half:
.
What is being described here is 1) not three days, and 2) not days of darkness since it explicitly talks about people seeing something for three and a half days, and therefore 3) not the three days of darkness.

This response is not very helpful. Perhaps you could address the objections that have been made to what you have posted?

"And Moses stretched forth his hand towards heaven: and there came horrible darkness in all the land of Egypt for three days." Exodus 10:22
The theory is, that if three days of darkness happened in the O.T., it could certainly happen in the N.T.

Other metaphors for the post-V2 debacle: Abp. Viganò suggested that the post-Vatican II Church ѕуηαgσgυє is on a "Road to Emmaus (Luke 24:13–35)" suffering spiritual blindness and evil to be converted like Saul of Tarsus being struck blind on the "Road to Damascus (Acts 9:1–19)" transformed, "born again" as St. Paul.

The three days of darkness is not in Scripture.
Incorrect, the Tribulation is not the end of the world. The Tribulation is in the 'end days' but there is a period of peace, after God intervenes (which is what this passage is referring to, God's intervention against His enemies, after they persecute Christianity). The anti-christ comes AFTER the Tribulation.
All of the prophecies of the '3 days' speak of God's wrath towards his enemies. God gives them their day and then His justice steps in and cleans house. There there is peace.
There are many things which "aren't in Scripture" which are still catholic. The number of prophecies about God's wrath coming with 3 days of darkness, with a comet, with earthquakes/floods, etc (all of which are implied in the above biblical passage) are ALL TIED TO THE PERIOD OF TRIBULATION.
The whole purpose of prophecy is to 'fill in the gaps' of Scripture, for the elect who are living in those times.
Prophecy = hope.
Prophecy = God's mercy.
Prophecy = God's Providence in action, telling us, "Don't worry, I have things under control. I have told my saints to prophecy these events CENTURIES before. Nothing will happen unless I allow it."
The '3 Days of Darkness' is a hopeful message. The only people who should fear are God's enemies. Catholics will win because of the '3 Days'. Christianity will return because of it. As Christ said, (paraphrasing) "As in the days of Noah, so will it be when the Son of Man returns."
The flood was God's way of wiping the slate clean of evil and starting over. The '3 Days' will be the same, but more than just 8 people are going to survive.

The post Vatican ll "church" ѕуηαgσgυє is not the bride of Christ. The bride of Christ is on the cross.

Not sure if it is applicable in a metaphorical sense to the Three Days of Darkness, but I am reminded of the horribly agonizing three days of "darkness" Mary and Joseph suffered through as they searched for the Child Jesus. Luke 2:45-6
