Title: The "Pope" must go... from Fox
Post by: Marlelar on June 18, 2016, 02:38:07 AM
I agree that Frank is dangerous but is the Papacy now a popularity contest?

"Pope Francis should resign, and Catholics should demand it, so the Church can begin recovering from the havoc his ill-advised and arrogant papacy has wrought."

What a world we live in    thanks to modernist popes.

Three years, so far for him ... I didn't realize, maybe if he is the pre Anti-christ, he will be gone after 3 1/2  years as that is how long it is said Anti-christ will have his day.

At least Fox News sees that there is a big problem with Pope Francis. They don't understand that the laity can't really demand that the Pope resign.

I could be wrong, but the only way to deal with a situation of the the uber-Modernist Pope is to, well, pray for him, and offer penance, and to pray, too, that the Cardinals see that they need to call a council or synod in order to determine that Francis is in error, and to censure him. If he is censured, and still persists in his error and doesn't repent, then they can take away his jurisdiction. He'll still be Pope, but cannot legislate as Pope. That's my understanding of how it would work.

Sadly, there's not much hope that the wimpy Catholic cardinals and bishops of the world are going to call for a censure of Francis. Maybe we could write to them? Or something like that? Probably a dumb idea.

I suspect that Bergoglio is merely waiting for Benedict XVI to pass away,
so that he may become "Pope Emeritus".
To continue the embarassment of a dual papacy would inflict much harm.

It's just another job, you see...
