    Tertullian vs. "The Pilgrim Church"

The heretics of Vatican 2 tell the world that they belong to a "Pilgrim Church" which is on some sort of journey of discovery. They love to speak of "becoming" and "growing" and other like terms designed to express a current state of imperfection and the hope of a future realisation of greater perfection. This heresy has been repeatedly condemned since it directly contradicts the doctrine of Holy Church's perfection and indefectibility.

When Wojtyla, in his unfathomable hatred for the Catholic Church, constantly whines "apologies" for what he heretically and unforgivably describes as "the sins of the Church" he is being perfectly consistent with his own erroneous beliefs. But all instructed Catholics know he is not being consistent with the doctrines of the Catholic Church. The following quote is taken from page 26 of Canon Smith's "The Teaching of the Catholic Church." It is attributed to Tertullian, "De Praescr., c. 8." :

"We need no curious searchings, when we have Jesus Christ; we need no further enquiry, when we have the gospel. When we believe, we need to believe nothing more. For this we believe at the very beginning, that there is nothing more to believe."

Now isn't that a beautiful answer to the heretics' Fumbling Church?
"I receive Thee, redeeming Prince of my soul. Out of love for Thee have I studied, watched through many nights, and exerted myself: Thee did I preach and teach. I have never said aught against Thee. Nor do I persist stubbornly in my views. If I have ever expressed myself erroneously on this Sacrament, I submit to the judgement of the Holy Roman Church, in obedience of which I now part from this world." • The church bases itself on sacred doctrine.
What is inspired by sacred doctrine manifests further doctrine, which then becomes sacred doctrine. What is born of purity manifests purity and cultivates further purity. The only way to destroy pure doctrine is to contradict it altogether, as Vatican 2 indeed has. Then one will only have corrupted bastard doctrine, since it comes from an impure source.
Return to pure doctrine, it is the only way.

I wish people would stop even looking to the V2 Church, for authority or anything.  It is the agent of Satan.

I agree. Rome has lost the faith and become the seat of the antichrist.

    The heretics of Vatican 2

You say the heretics of Vatican 2 and I agree that they are and were heretics, but didn't Tertullian himself become a heretic?

  • Yet LoT holds the same basic core error that's behind all the Vatican II errors.
