The Holy Bible doesn't mention the trinity. That doesn't make it any less true. The sign of the cross is not tri-theism it is how we pray as Catholics. The islamic Koran for example begins in the name of God the benevolent, When we pray, we as Catholics invoke the HOly Trinity by saying, "In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit." To say that the Holy Trinity is absent from the Novus Ordo is a bit dishonest.

Where did I say the Sign of the Cross promotes Tritheism or that "the Holy Trinity is absent from the Novus Ordo"?
The facts remain: Trinitas is never mentioned in the Novus Ordo ordinary. Why was it expunged, if not to please the non-baptized?
