Unsurprisingly, indulter St. John Cantius in Chicago caves to Cupich and Traditiones Cojones

It is time for those who have attended St. John Cantius to walk away, just walk away. Go to the SSPX, go to the sedevacantists, go to independents. Just walk away NOW.

When Mrs. Bonaventure and I were in Chicago a couple of months ago, we stopped in to see this church. Impressive. Its relics on display are alone reason enough to visit. Sad that it has now been co-opted by that f-a-g-g-o-t Cupich.

Pathetic cowards.

Over-the-top effeminate.
Also, the statement sounds like someone surrenduring to Hitler from the Vichy government of France circa 1940.

Don't you think that Pope Francis and Cardinal Cupich would love just that, for everyone to "walk away?" If every Catholic walked away from every bad job, bad church, bad x, then just how is society going to have any hope to be reformed again?
If everyone in Chicago just walks away, then Cardinal Cupich will have the perfect reason to sell that church to developers, etc. Young people will not have any exposure to its apparent beauty, etc.
Sometimes you have to stay and fight. Dig in your heels. The gates of hell will not prevail, as we know, but we may have a bumpy ride.
I look at this kind of thing as just another blip on the radar screen. It's not great, but it could be worse. A lot worse. At least the people of Chicago will still have an option, versus that craziness that is going on with the Christmas Eve "Mass" and that wack-nut Priest in Chicago.
Catholics will win by not tiring out. Let evil tire itself out by all of its innovations and such. Mayor Beetle Juice there will disappear soon, and so will Cardinal Cupich.

Society is long past reformation. Hope must be redirected towards general survival and salvation of one's soul. And in the case of St. John Cantius, there has never been assurance of the validity of the Mass and sacraments since the ordinations of the Canons Regular are through men whose ordinations and episcopal consecrations have been in the Novus Ordo rite and, going forward, will use that new rite for ordinations of the Cantians themselves. Just walk away.

A tri-ritual community (or even biritual) is a schizophrenic community with an identity crisis, and the very notion of such a three-headed beast is symptomatic of liberalism.
-
I will always be grateful to St. John Cantius for not only introducing many people to the great composers of the Church through its liturgies, but having composers write new polyphony in Kevin Allen. But they're a big capitulation. They have to be. If they weren't, they'd be replaced by Cupich's own hand who could destroy that parish in about a year.

They’re not even consistent.
If they’re obeying Bergoglio, they shouldn’t have any Masses there. If they’re obeying Bergoglio, there is no extraordinary form anymore.
-
They’re not even consistent.
Hasn't this always been the case with the indults? Go along to get along?

But two distinguishable and actually distinct bodies sharing one and the same head is not indicative of an identity crisis, a hitherto-unthinkable monstrosity symptomatic of liberalism, etc?
I agree with your assessment, of course, but it isn't as if Traddieland is some utterly-healthy, sane place where all (or even much) is crystal clear.
Anyway, back to our regularly scheduled program...

Yes, I was wondering this as well.

Eventually people are going to have to walk away because going into Chicago for any reason other than work is too risky. The crime, which was always high has gotten much worse.
