  • "Those who preserve their fervour and adhere to virtue with ove and zeal for the truth, will suffer injuries and persecutions as rebels and schismatics..."

Could it be, Geremia, that you've found a prophecy that alludes to the SSPX?

Well done with this.  Very interesting.  I wonder if there's another one out there.

This prophecy seems to bring to mind the FFI, too.

It will come out in time that the "Siri Thesis" is true and the basic
of all our problems in the church today and since October 1958.
When Cardinal Siri for what ever the reason turned down his
election to the papacy, and handed it over to an anti pope
    Roncalli, Satan entered the church.

  • It could also allude to the tragic sacrifice of Pro Tridentina (Malta). Hopefully this dream will come true:

    Bishop Williamson to visit Malta

The last Tridentine Mass held - as far as is known - in a former bastion of Christendom.

  • And alludes to those who reject fealty to the conciliar popes.

"The devils will have unusual power, the immaculate purity of our Order, and of others, will be so much obscured that there will be very few Christians who will obey the true Sovereign Pontiff and the Roman Church with loyal hearts and perfect charity. At the time of this tribulation a man, not canonically elected, will be raised to the Pontificate, who, by his cunning, will endeavour to draw many into error and death."

The imbroglio in the church has become a delicious opportunity for satan to sink them into disobedience under a cloak of false piety, because they are identify with Tradition.

"A supposed soundness of doctrine or discipline leads instead to a narcissistic and authoritarian elitism, whereby instead of evangelizing, one analyzes and classifies others, and instead of opening the door to grace, one exhausts his or her energies in inspecting and verifying. In neither case is one really concerned about Jesus Christ or others." — POPE FRANCIS, Evangelii Gaudium, n. 94

Look at the date.  It was back in June 2013.  Any confirmation that H.E. actually
    visited Malta?

  • Andysloan, why are you quoting Francis as if his words carry any authority? This is the guy who wants to force the Catholic Church to "accept" and "value" sodomites.

  • To KnightVigilant,

Firstly, not everyone would agree with your emphatic assertion:

"This is the guy who wants to force the Catholic Church to "accept" and "value" sodomites. "

    http://www.crisismagazine.com/2013/what-did-the-pope-really-say-about-gαys-in-the-priesthood

We do not know his intention and one could argue that he is seeking to open the gate to penance:

    1 Corinthians 6:1-11

"Nor the effeminate, nor liers with mankind, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor railers, nor extortioners, shall possess the kingdom of God.
And such some of you were; but you are washed, but you are sanctified, but you are justified in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the Spirit of our God."

One is required to always see things for the best, as St Thomas states: (Article 4)

    http://www.newadvent.org/summa/3060.htm

Secondly, however wayward the Pope may seem to be, that doesn't deny of him an inability of all sound understanding. And in the quote you refer to, he is right on the mark with regard so some modern day Catholics.

  • According to him we need to know "his intentions" in order to make judgments. Quote me one, EVEN just one theologian that has any repute that says that we have to "know" the intent/thoughts of a person before condemning him.

For how would the Church have ever condemned Luther, if he we are incapable of knowing/reading the heart of man? You are asking for the impossible, which only proves that your theology is devoid of any reason.

Real Church teaching on the matter:

    Quote
Saint Bellarmine: "For men are not bound, or able to read hearts; but when they see that someone is a heretic by his external works, they judge him to be a heretic pure and simple, and condemn him as a heretic." (De Romano Pontifice, II, 30)

Your gobbledygook is not Church teaching, and your idea that we have to somehow mind read to know what "Bergoglio" really meant to do is utterly null and void.

Luther can be condemned, because he contradicted defined doctrine. Yet as we read:

No popes in the history of the Church have ever made ex cathedra errors. — Rev. Joseph Iannuzzi, theologian of the Gregorian Pontifical University

And the Church has not condemned/deposed any of the conciliar Popes according to the process established by Our Lord.

    Matthew 18:17

"And if he will not hear them: tell the church. And if he will not hear the church, let him be to thee as the heathen and publican."

Therefore, you are in violation of the command of Our Lord in holding to your sedevacantism, proudly arrogating to yourself a judicial power which belongs to the church.

As regards intention, more than a theologian, here is the Eternal Father to St Catherine of Siena:

"The second kind of false judgment is directed against a man's neighbor, from which often come many evils, because the wretched man wishes to set himself up as the judge of the affections and heart of other rational creatures, when he does not yet know himself. And, for an action which he may see, or for a word he may hear, he will judge the affection of the heart.

No, it never materialised. There were rumours that His Grace was coming after the SSPX sent a delegation to Malta, but sadly traditional Catholicism in Malta seems destined to the home-alone option only.
