  • FYI...

St. Albert the Great has now leased the property they had initially thought of purchasing.  FWIW, this is, IMO, the wisest course at this time, as prices will continue to fall, the economy will worsen, etc., yet this gives them a more substantial base, with a realistic option to buy, should such seem to be the best course in the long run.

    Update on New Property

As Father Ramolla has announced, negotiations have been successfully concluded on our lease of the LaValle property in Fairfield.  We are scheduled to take possession of the building on July 1.  Much has to be finalized of course, and we will continue to give you updates as we move into the next phase of our new parish. Meanwhile, please check out our New Home page, and see the pictures of where we will shortly be having Mass and a wealth of other parish activities.

If you haven't yet sent in your one-time pledge donation, or the first of your ongoing monthly pledges, please do so now, as our down payment and first lease payment will be due in the next couple of weeks. Thank you again for your generosity in making the lease of our new home possible.

    Parish Constitution and By-Laws

As the parish continues to move forward, it is important that our Parish Constitution and By-Laws are in place and begin to take binding effect on those involved.  This will not only help to ensure the good running of the Parish, but is also meant to protect the financial investment of our parishioners.  As we are now beginning to take in your pledges, in some cases involving significant amounts of money, the Pastor and his Board of Trustees are very much aware of their responsibility to ensure that protection.  As we announced earlier, the Board met recently to discuss the Constitution and By-Laws.  These docuмents have now been revised according to the agreements and consensus reached at that meeting, and after one last review by the Pastor, will be signed into effect this week.  This is another significant development in the life of our parish, and both Pastor and Board believe that with a constitution and a set of by-laws, together with a place we can call our own, St. Albert's has this week made enormous and significant steps in providing a solid, safe, and optimistic future for our parishioners.

  • While nothing is perfect in this vale of tears, it looks as if the priest/s and people -- now free of the domination and exploitation of the Vipers of Vaudeville -- have been able to begin building a reasonably healthy and solid situation.  May God alone be praised and may He bless and keep them, today and always -- and may He enlighten those still adversely affected by the shenanigans of Bp Dolan and Co.

  • I'm confused, Veritatis.  Is this CMRI or what?  Only in today's world would this question come up.

  • No, this is not CMRI.  It is a chapel in southern OH run by Fr. Ramolla, with notable help from Fr. Thielen, et alii.  Many of those at St. Albert's used to go to St. Gertrude the Great (sgg.org/cult).
