Not in this case, not as long as there is a Crisis in the Church. This SSPX priests knows if he obeys this new demand he would be implying that he did not have supplied jurisdiction.
That is absolute nonsense. What Catholic reference says schism is okay when there is a crisis? Rather, take a look at the article in the CE on Schism at the link below and scroll down to the section labeled, "Attempts to legitimize schism", and you will see it clearly says the Church does not provide a single exception for permitting schism. Either Francis is Pope and we obey him entirely, or he is not Pope and is to be ignored.
