Pray for peace and unity in the Church, including between Rome and the Society. Lord have Mercy.

"On 2 February 2026, the feast of the Purification of the Blessed Virgin, the Reverend Father Davide Pagliarani, Superior General of the Priestly Society of Saint Pius X, during the ceremony of the taking of the cassock which he presided over at the International Seminary of Saint-Curé-d’Ars in Flavigny-sur-Ozerain, France, publicly announced his decision to entrust the bishops of the Society with the task of proceeding with new episcopal consecrations, on 1 July next."

Hello and welcome to CInfo.

Please say which Church you are discussing... the way I see it, Rome is normally considered as the Modernist /Liberal church; the Vatican is its cousin, all the "officials" such as Card. Fernandez.

The Catholic Church is the true Church of all time.  I believe in the unity, in the sense that  Pope Leo XIV is the true Pope, but we have to fight his scandalous declarations. He is part of the rotting apple, and prudent Catholics refuse the rot that was wrought since Vat II.

Practising our Traditional Faith with real SACRAMENTS & MORALS is a part of Unity, the healthy part of the apple... However, praying for peace with Rome = leads to loss of the Faith.

I hope and pray that Rome converts , soon.
There are a couple of Threads about the Consecrations on CInfo, Feb 3

Didn't Ste Thérèse of Lisieux say:''I am ready to die to defend the Liturgy. ?'', paraphrased.

Our Lady, co-Redemptrix, pray for us.

Holy Lent...
