  • The SSPX recommends for us to avoid the internet... yet they read Fr. Z's blog?

  • It's just more sign of the pro-conciliar orientation of the neo-SSPX.

Father Z is against the position of the Archbishop.  We have SSPX priests approving a pro-conciliar blog being recommended for a comment supposedly about what "young people want" - as though that should ever be the criterion for what is done at Church.  The emphasis in the post is not on Faith, but on nature of the experience.

The neo-SSPX is liberal - recommends liberal Catholic blogs that are opposed to the position of the Archbishop, but condemns those forums where the position of the Archbishop is still held.

Because the neo-SSPX is no longer the same mission founded by the Archbishop.

    As Father Cardozo rightly says.

  • They even put one of those "diverse" stock pictures of mixed young people in a circle at the top.

These people really do not have a Catholic sense.

  • Excellent posts, Tele. I agree.

Next they'll probably be endorsing "Catholic" Answers!

  • Yeah if you think about it, it will only encourage others to read the tripe on Fr. Z's garblog, and take what he says as if it's somehow in agreement with the Society.
    Matthew 5:37

But let your speech be yea, yea: no, no: and that which is over and above these, is of evil.

My Avatar is Fr. Hector Bolduc. He was a faithful parish priest in De Pere, WI,

  • I believe there was an SSPX priest who actually posted on Fr. Z's blog frequently. It goes to show how liberal the SSPX has become the past several years.

  • Fr. Z comes across fairly traditional to those who haven't done enough reading, studying and, most important, praying on the matter.

I see Fr. Z as a man trying to play both sides of the fence but, deep down, he's a concilliarist.

"Dyed-in-the-wool" concilliarist; I remember 12 years ago reading his posts on a Catholic message board where he stated that "the Council of Florence had erred" on the dogma of EENS.

  • I remember him telling all those around him some book he had in his hand was the best ever. It was written by an Anglican. He was involved with n.o. youth  who were doing Cursillo. His dad is a protestant, the last time I heard.

  • He is a wordly type in the mold of the dreaded Cardinal Newman. I wonder who funds all his flights to New Rome?

  • Just found this on his "Fr. Z's" blog:

Fr. Z’s 10 Most Important Religious News Stories in 2012

5.General Synod of Church of England rejects women bishops (20 November)

Why is that important for a Roman Catholic?

    Yes, excellent.

Because we're all one big happy ecuмenical family!  Didn't you know?

This is just one more demonstration that the Conciliar church is NOT the Catholic Church.

    ... the dreaded Cardinal Newman...

    Dear Editha, Welcome to CathInfo.

I am glad that you understand that Cardinal Newman was NOT a good Catholic.
Francis is an Antipope. Pray that God will grant us a good Pope and save the Church.
I abjure and retract my schismatic support of the evil CMRI.Thuc condemned the Thuc nonbishops
"Now, therefore, we declare, say, determine and pronounce that for every human creature it is necessary for salvation to be subject to the authority of the Roman Pontiff"-Pope Boniface VIII.
If you think Francis is Pope,do you treat him like an Antipope?
