+ Lefebvre: 'I know that the Pope gives us many questions, because sometimes he is Traditionalist - sometimes he is a Modernist, and this twofacedness is very unhappy and very disastrous for the Church.
    I don't accept this attitude of Rome, for me - because I cannot help the destruction of the Church; and if I close my Seminary, if I finish (halt) my work, I help to the destruction of the Church...'

While the SSPX will acknowledge the bishops of the diocese; I have never known them to be under their authority.
