I agree that the SSPX is a bogus org. However I am certain that Pius X and XII(XIII) meant the word only as a reference to the true light of Jesus, our Lord.

It is predictable that Rauol would try and shape-shift the interpretation into an inference that Illuminati was the intended meaning.

Oh please! I suppose if I describe something as "enlightening" then that makes me a fan of the so called "enlightenment".

So Mike, did Pius XII actually use the word "luminous"? Does one have to be speaking English when they use the word or is a translation of luminous sufficient to place one in this new category of yours?
