The person was very nice but I just got an uneasy feeling from it all.

    Tiffany,

If you don't mind, what city are you talking about? We had attended the SSPV in Round Top, NY for many years and absolutely love the people there. They've never seemed to ask us what our kids thought of something.

Yes, they are very cautious, but as they are doing their best to keep the traditions as exactly as possible until order is restored to the Church, they are not a cult.

We recently moved from Round Top (house still for sale) to have a school and while they cautioned us to keep watch for dangers in the SSPX, there is no contract or cult-like conditions applied. When we go back to visit, we'll attend the SSPV mass.

I still find it hard to believe that Traditionals take such serious umbrage with each other. I am fairly certain that when we all stand before Our Lord, we're all going to be saying "I did what I thought was right."

Of course, having strong convictions is what leads to the fighting...

For the record, I would attend either the SSPV or SSPX mass in good conscience and I trust either of them to care for my spiritual well-being.

    Good luck and God bless.
