Things are coming to a head with Vigano. He's had sixty plus years (and a bird's eye view) to weigh the evidence, and several years to weigh it in public. Furthermore he purports to be a hierarch himself, which means he is presumed to have deep theological knowledge. And yet you tell me he has not yet made up his mind. I tell you he's out of time. He's in the public eye, and he has been commanded by a false authority to give testimony of himself. It's now or never. He must stand unequivocally for the whole and integral truth, or be discounted. Period.
Ridiculous and emotional.
-- Ladislaus said:--If he hasn't declared all the popes after Pius XII illegitimate, it's only because he hasn't made up his mind about them yet or else come up with an explanation for it.
He's said multiple times that every pope back to John23 supported heresy and that the adherents of the conciliar church are schismatic and anti-catholic. What else is there left to say?
These accusations of his being "slippery" are out of line. He says what he believes and is not deterred by human respect, but he simply hasn't fully made up his mind yet about Roncalli - Ratzinger. He has denounced them and their "teaching", etc. ... but hasn't come to a final conclusion yet regarding their legitimacy.
Honestly, these guys are dead and it's the Church's job to declare them anti-popes, at some point in the future. Calling every V2 "pope" a heretic is enough. If +Vigano wrote a book on the errors of J23-Benedict, people would complain that he's "wasting time on the past".
What is expedient is the "here and now" and Francis is the danger for TODAY. Also (for those who are missing the bigger picture)...+Vigano is trying to convert the novus ordo/indulters. This is one of his main audiences; where he came from. It is wise, when converting someone, to avoid shoving large amounts of info down their throats, but to go slowly and let them learn on their own. Most novus ordo/indulters have a "rosy" view of the past; it takes time to tear this down and un-brainwash them.
Using the term 'heresy' is enough. It's really not necessary to "declare them all anti-popes". This is just an emotional desire for justice, though a misguided one, considering the point here is to convert newbies.
If +Vigano was standing in front of a firing squad, about to martyred, then you "let it rip" and chastise everyone in your last stand. But as St Thomas More was patient, throughout his multiple, multiple court hearings, he only "let it rip" when he knew that conversation was over and his fate was decided. Before then, his measured responses were intended to convince others and support the Church. "Letting it rip" too soon and too much is an immature response that often backfires.
