  • From the fifth edition of the Tractatus de fide divina authored by the illustrious theologian Msgr. Van Noort, as translated and revised by Rev. Frs. John J. Castelot and William R. Murphy in the third volume Msgr. Van Noort's series of Dogmatic Theology, The Sources of Revelation and Divine Faith (Westminster, MD: The Newman Press, 1961), here is the sixth article of the first Chapter of aforementioned treatise on Divine Faith, "The Object of Divine Faith," which deals with theological censures.

This information is imperative for the student of sacred doctrine to have in mind as he endeavors to examine with desired prudence the proposals and statements that have been proposed unto the faithful by various individuals or entities since the exceeding great obfuscation consequent upon the Johannine-Pauline anti-Church's audacious and impious pretension to promulgate a nova œconomia that is diametrically contrary and mutually exclusive to the magisterium of Holy Mother Church.

  • From the fifth edition of the Tractatus de Ecclesia Christi authored by the illustrious theologian Msgr. Van Noort, as translated and revised by Rev. Frs. John J. Castelot and William R. Murphy in the third volume Msgr. Van Noort's series of Dogmatic Theology, Christ's Church (Westminster, MD: The Newman Press, 1957), here is the fifth article of the third Chapter of the first section of the aforementioned treatise, "The Properties of the Church," which deals with the Apostolicity of the Church.

In the wake of the exceeding great obfuscation consequent upon the Johannine-Pauline construct's wicked pretension to promulgate a nova œconomia that is diametrically contrary and mutually exclusive to the magisterium of Holy Mother Church, certain acephalous clerics and their lay disciples appear to have inaugurated their own œconomia wherein Apostolicity can exist without the Roman Pontiff, and therefore these selfsame clerics―as a matter of fact, bereft of a Canonical mission together with a duly ordained office, and consequently deprived of habitual and delegated jurisdiction―seem to arrogate to themselves some sort of "extraordinary mission," or tacitly allow their lay disciples to ascribe it to them in neglecting to correct their gross ecclesiological errors.

The lamentable and terrifying consequences of these errors are doing more harm than good, and one is bound to correct these erring Catholics―whether they err in good will notwithstanding―by the exegencies of fraternal charity the duties concomitant with the moral virtue of religion.

  • From the fifth edition of the Tractatus de Ecclesia Christi authored by the illustrious theologian Msgr. Van Noort, as translated and revised by Rev. Frs. John J. Castelot and William R. Murphy in the third volume Msgr. Van Noort's series of Dogmatic Theology, Christ's Church (Westminster, MD: The Newman Press, 1957), here is the first article of the fourth Chapter of the second section of the aforementioned treatise, "The Bishops," which deals with the Bishops of the Catholic Church considered individually.

In the strange ecclesiological œconomia posited by some apologists as a rash reaction to the errors of the Johannine-Pauline construct, Apostolicity and duly sanctioned Canonical missions and offices can somehow exist without the authority of the Roman Pontiff. Consequently these same apologists err further in positing that the acephalous clerics posses habitual or delegated jurisdiction and not that jurisdiction which is supplied by the Church herself in the individual instances in which the principles of epikeia would apply without exceeding the measure of prudence. This jurisdiction and this alone is all that such clerics can claim if they wish to profess themselves Catholics.

These clerics are doing more harm than good by neglecting to correct these erring apologists. These Priests and Bishops are especially bound to correct these erring Catholics―whether they err in good will notwithstanding―by reason of the exegencies of fraternal charity and the duties concomitant with the moral virtue of religion, not to mention the grave obligations inexorably connected with the sacred vocation which they have undertook of their own free volition in these tumultuous times.
