  • A December 1 entry on Dr. Droleskey's site http://christorchaos.com/index.html.mno.html contains a report that I haven't seen anywhere else:

"Mr. Bendell's new report, Pray for the Children, is excellent. It contains the stunning revelation that Father Carlos Urrutigoity is now serving as the vocations director of the Diocese of Ciudad del Este and that one of his presbyters, "Father" Dominic Carey, is the rector of the diocesan seminary there."

Those who remember the Society of St. John story that Dr. Bond docuмented many years ago will know that Urrutigoity was a notorious ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖ predator and run out of the U.S. Novus Ordo church in disgrace. The story that he is now installed as a vocations director somewhere is so outrageous that you think someone has made it up, but the article links to a report that shows it is true.

  • Canute, you misread or misunderstood.  They were not run out of the NO.  They were merely 'formally suppressed' and run out of Penn..  They then transplanted themselves to Paraquay to be under a Bishop there (which proves that they were not run out of the NO).  That Bishop belongs to the Opus Dei cult.  There is now pending canonical proceedings to defrock Fr. Ensey (& I think Fr. Urrutigoity).  Why on earth this hasn't been done long ago is a tragedy as now they visit a priest in the Vancouver Diocese who helps them financially & even went on a pilgrimage with them in Oct.!!
"I will lead her into solitude and there I will speak to her heart.  Osee 2:14

Thanks for clarifying this. You're right. if they had truly been defrocked no NO bishop would taken them in. It is still amazing that with their "history" ANY diocesan bishop would have accepted them, still less put them in charge of vocations or the seminary.

  • Just when I think I am past astonishment...
Stir up within Thy Church, we beseech Thee, O Lord, the Spirit with which blessed Josaphat, Thy Martyr and Bishop, was filled, when he laid down his life for his sheep: so that, through his intercession, we too may be moved and strengthen by the same Spir
