So much has happened already this year, I've fallen behind in keeping you up to date. Your prayers and financial support are helping so much to make known Our Lady's Fatima Message of warning and hope.

I know you have many questions about what's going on at the Fatima Center and in the Church. Please take a few minutes to read this progress report.

A Tremendous Breakthrouqh -
The Pope Contradicts the Party Line!

The newspapers reported on the progress of Benedict XVI's pilgrimage to the Holy Land. But! Did you hear what he said at Bethlehem on Mav 13th?
On the 92nd anniversary of Our Lady's first Fatima apparition the Holy Father prayed to Her: "You promised the three children of Fatima that 'in the end, My Immaculate Heart will triumph.' May it be so!"

I cannot overemphasize the significance of the Holy Father's words. His prayer represents an amazing breakthrough! It is the first Papal public correction of the 20-year-old ongoing deception promoted by the enemies of Our Lady of Fatima.

The whole Catholic world has been misled by the Vatican Secretary of State to believe that the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart is already behind us.

It also represents a correction of the Pope's colossal misstatement (when he was Cardinal Ratzinger) that the Fatima prophecy of the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart took place when Mary gave Her "fiat" ("Let it be done to me according to thy word") over 2,000 years ago.

For the Holy Father to pray - solemnly and publicly - for the triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, means that he admits that the 1984 "consecration of Russia" was not the solemn act, in union with the bishops, for which Our Lady of Fatima asked.

That ceremony avoided any mention of Russia for fear the Russians would be offended.

Here is proof positive that our pleas to His Holiness have not fallen on deaf ears!

It can only be through the grace of God, Our Lady's intercession and our prayers and those of many thousands of others.

The Bible tells us that God uses the weak to confound the strong.
We may console ourselves to also think that God used you and me and by

His grace enabled us to insist and persist on Fatima being the only solution, for 32 years through thick and thin.

Therefore, we may also believe it's because of the intervention of Our Lady's Apostolate (for we are the leading champions .of the Full Fatima Message) and others who agree with us, that the Pope has come to change his mind and contradict his previous position.

It is a Great Moment

Let us thank God and renew our resolve to march forward under Our Lady's banner. She has promised us that the victory is certain, it is Hers and all mankind will be the beneficiaries.

Sometimes it may seem to you, as it does to me, that we are not making as much progress as we hope and pray for. I get tempted to be frustrated when I can't see the fruits of our labors after 32 years of this work.

At such times I try to remember, as you should, that the victory Our Lady promised at Fatima is so colossal, so great, that it has never before been seen in 6000 years of human history.

Such a victory would take a great effort!
A great deal of patience, persistence and courage.

Getting both the Holy Father and the Vatican to make a 180-degree turn is like trying to turn around a battleship! You have to watch very carefully to see even the slightest sign of movement.

Since the Vatican's "commentary" of June 26, 2000, it has been rare for any prelate (except Cardinal Bertone with his laughable claims about the Third Secret) to speak of Fatima.

It is rarer still for the Pope to say much. With a few notable exceptions, he has maintained a studied and resolute silence on the Third Secret and the Apparitions of Fatima.

Speaking on May 13th, 2007 - the 90th anniversary of the first Apparition at Fatima - Benedict XVI said:

"with their powerful call to conversion and penance, they (the apparitions of Our Lady of Fatima) are without doubt the most prophetic of all modern apparitions."

Now, two years later to the day -

The Holy Father prays that the prophecies of Fatima will be fulfilled and that Our Lady's Immaculate Heart will triumph as She promised us.

But there's more news, even more amazing, to relate. I have learned that Benedict XVI has had a SECRET COMMISSION working on Fatima for over three years!

Only a few people know about it. But two bishops from two different countries, thousands of miles apart, both confirmed that this commission does exist -

It was set up by the Pope himself apparently because he is thinking of CONSECRATING RUSSIA!

I'm sorry I can't say more at this time. The subject of the Consecration is extremely sensitive, and there are powerful forces inside the Vatican - the enemies of Fatima and Our Apostolate - who would do anything to stop the Consecration of Russia.

But mark my words, I believe we are closer than ever before to the glorious day when the Consecration will be done and we will have the period of peace, security and prosperity Our Lady promised us!

And I believe our Target: Rome Campaign and our other ongoing efforts have played a vital part in breaking the silence surrounding Fatima and bringing the question of the Consecration to the forefront.

We successfully completed Phase II of Target: Rome this spring.
Here are some highlights of this campaign.

From March 15th until April 30th, we broadcast L' Unica Chiave per Ottenere la Pace nel Mondo (the Italian version of HEAVEN'S KEY TO PEACE) nine times on two "on air" channels and 11 times on a satellite channel, reaching an audience of MILLIONS of viewers.

We supported the broadcasts with EIGHTY 30 second PROMOTIONAL "SPOTS", featuring our website address and toll-free telephone number. (You can view them on our Italian site www.fatima.it)

Over 9 MILLION readers were able to see our ADVERTISEMENTS (see it on our website www.fatima.org) nine times ih two major Roman daily newspapers (Metro and Il Messaggero) .

We recorded over a thousand responses, by phone, letters and e-mail and visits to our Italian web site. These people were moved by what they saw and heard, and were motivated to find out more about Our Lady's Fatima Message of warning and hope.

Our experience in the U.S. and Canada tells us that, for every person who calls or writes, there could be as many as 1000 others who see the program, and think about what they're seeing, but take no action immediately.

So an important part of Phase III of Target: Rome must be the repetition of this and other Fatima programs. And we must open up other channels of communication, especially our books and The Fatima Crusader, edizione Italiana.

Did the Pope see our program? Could it be that this is what prompted him to make his remarkable and public prayer for the triumph of the Immaculate Heart?

Thanks to the prayers and donations of you and many other of Our Lady's friends, HEAVEN'S KEY TO PEACE (L'Unica Chiave per Ottenere la Pace nel Mondo) was there to be seen. The Pope, over 200 Cardinals and bishops, and 1000s of priests had about 20 chances to view it.

Even if they can't speak out publicly, I'm sure a great many of these key Cardinals, bishops and priests may well have heard the Full Fatima Message, some of them for the very first time.

What's Ahead - TARGET: ROME - PHASE III

I thank God and Our Lady that we have made an excellent beginning in our campaign to bring the Message of Fatima home to Rome. But there is more to be done. We need your help to move into Phase III of Target: Rome.

We are exploring ways and means to repeat our TV broadcasts. If you and other friends of Our Lady give us the resources, we will have an Italian version of our new video, The Secret Still Silenced, ready soon. We want to be sure it's seen by the widest possible audience.

Another positive result of our work in Rome is an agreement to offer as much as 10,000 copies of Il Segreto ancora nascosto (The Secret Still Hidden) for sale at over 300 newsstands in Naples, Rome, and suburbs.

Let me remind vou again of the importance of Rome. The final battle for the Consecration of Russia, for the salvation - or loss -of BILLIONS of souls, is being fought there, even now.

Rome is the devil's Achilles' heel and is Our Lady's key to victory!

Our Prayers to Our Lady ARE Being Answered - A Revelation in Rome

As I said above, it is sometimes difficult to see or measure our progress in the Mission entrusted to us by Heaven:

To promote the release of the entire Third Secret of Fatima and obtain the solemn and public Consecration of Russia which Our Lady requested, thus saving MILLIONS, even BILLIONS of souls from eternal damnation.

But every now and then God, in His mercy, gives us a sign of encouragement, something that lets us know our prayers are being heard and we must not give up.

We received just such a sign - a truly startling revelation ¬while we were in Rome.

As part of Target: Rome we put together a team (a bishop, two priests and two laymen) who visited Cardinals, Archbishops and bishops in person in Rome to lobby for the Consecration of Russia.

As a result, we learned that the Pope actually asked some Vatican officials to look into the possibility of consecrating Russia. We also learned from Vatican insiders that there are still strong obstacles to be overcome.

One of the greatest of these is the stubbornness of those in the vatican who are still wedded to the outdated and discredited over 40-year-old "ostpolitik" policy of Cardinals Casaroli and Sodano.

They are afraid that, if the Pope follows Our Lady's commands to the letter, the Russian Orthodox church will be offended.

These past and present top Vatican officials try the patience of God and man. Worse, if they persist and continue to block Our Lady of Fatima's Peace Plan, by their disobedience and lack of faith, they will drag down to everlasting damnation millions of souls.

The entire world - whatever is left after "various nations are annihilated" as Our Lady said: will suffer the consequences of war, enslavement, famine and persecution.

You and I, and other friends of Our Lady, are among the very few who are not asleep or blinded to the truth.

Most people are unaware but we recognize the terrible consequences that will befall mankind if Her Fatima warnings and requests are not heeded - VERY SOON!

Victory will come throuqh our prayers of the Rosary

It is up to us - up to me, up to YOU - to persist in working and praYlng for Our Lady's final victory. Sister Lucy told us:

"There is no problem ... no matter how difficult it is, that we cannot resolve by the prayer of the Holy Rosary."

Earlier this year we saw a maqnificent testimony to the power of the Rosary in the remission by the Holy Father of the purported excommunication of the bishops of the Society of St. Pius X (SSPX).

Bishop Bernard Fellay, the Superior-General of the SSPX, said -and it cannot be doubted - that this was a direct response to the SSPX's Rosary Crusade, started in October of 2008. And Heaven's answer came in just three months!

In January 2009, Bishop Fellay presented a bouquet of 1,703,000 Rosaries for the Pontiff to lift the "excommunications". At that very same time, he received the decree remitting the "excommunications". Truly miraculous!!!

Moved by this news, I, myself, went to one of the four (SSPX) bishops to suggest to His Excellency that another Rosary Crusade, this time asking Our Lady to hasten the Triumph of Our Lady's Immaculate Heart by means of the Consecration of Russia, be started. Other long-time supporters and friends also wrote to Bishop Fellay about this.

And now, in letter #74, the Superior General has announced a new Rosary Crusade starting in May 2009 "for the Consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary as requested by Our Lady at Fatima".

Bishop Fellay writes, "We have learned from the examples of saints and Holy Scripture itself that great desires can hasten quite strikingly the designs of the good Lord. Thus we make bold to lay this intention before the Immaculate Heart of Mary .... "

On previous occasions, Our Lady's Apostolate has collected similar bouquets of Rosaries. We collected, over time, over TWENTY MILLION Rosaries and we have presented them to the Holy Father.

By this means we have drawn down from Heaven countless graces to help us in times of persecution and trouble, and bring about many victories, small and great, like those I've described in this letter.

TWELVE MILLION MORE ROSARIES for the Consecration of Russia

Now it seems to me it is not just right but urgently necessary to renew our own Rosary Crusade.

What I learned in Rome this spring is that we are faced with the strong and even "violent" opposition to the full Fatima Message from certain powerful Cardinals and bishops inside the Vatican. We MUST, once again, have recourse to Our Mother Mary, and the Holy Rosary.

The Mother of God presented Herself to us at Fatima as Our Lady of the Rosary. With Her Holy Rosary, Sister Lucy said, we will save ourselves, we will sanctify ourselves, we will console Our Lord and obtain the salvation of many souls.

Sister Lucy of Fatima tells us that "there is no problem, no matter how difficult it is, whether temporal or above all, spiritual, in the personal life of each one of us, of our families of the world, or of the religious communities, or even of the life of peoples and nations, that cannot be solved by the power of the Holy Rosary".

And we can be confident of a happy outcome to this final battle against the devil, for Our Lady promised us "In the end, My Immaculate Heart will triumph."

So let us use the means She gave us to hasten this Triumph. Let us offer the Blessed Virgin, between now and July 2, 2010, the Feast of the Visitation, TWELVE MILLION ROSARIES for the Consecration of Russia to Her Immaculate Heart.

And that's just for one person. If, as I have often recommended, you pray the Rosary for this intention as a family every day, you multiply the number of Rosaries said by the number of family members taking part. Every Rosary counts!

Momentum is building! THE MOMENT HAS COME!

The Pope wants to do the Consecration! He is battling powerful forces - the "smoke of Satan" - within the Vatican itself. He needs the support of our Rosary prayers!

Our Lady said: "Sacrifice yourself for this intention and pray."
For the sake of each and every soul that will otherwise be lost -

And yes, I'm talking about not just your fervent prayers, but your financial sacrifice too. I am asking you to "give till it hurts."

The Bible tells us, "Give alms out of thy substance." (Tobias 4:7) That means not just giving "spare change" - you'd give that to a beggar on a downtown sidewalk - but making a real sacrifice, doing without something to make a substantial donation to Our Lady's cause.

Almsgiving is a sacrifice in which you give back to God something of the substance of what He has given to you. But remember:

God will not be outdone in generosity. Whatever you give, He will repay you a hundred-fold. "For alms delivereth from death, and the same is that which purgeth away sins, and maketh to find mercy and life everlasting." (Tob. 12:9)

I am counting on your faith and your love for Our Lady to help Her Apostolate continue bringing the Full Message of Fatima to millions around the world and here at home.

Please give whatever you can truly afford. And please pray, pray, and pray some more for the Triumph of Her Immaculate Heart.
